Dr. Kailey Kornhauser

Kailey joins Vibrant Planet with a background in forest collaboration, facilitation, social science, and natural resource policy. She is passionate about helping diverse stakeholder groups find common ground as they work to address complex land management challenges. Kailey has developed her pragmatic approach to facilitation and collaboration over the past decade and brings experience working with academic, non-government, local, state, and federal land management partners including the Environmental Dispute Resolution Program, Oregon State Legislature, Oregon State University, Oregon Central Coast Forest Collaborative, City of Corvallis Planning Commission, Department of the Interior, and the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Kailey holds a Ph.D. in Forest Ecosystems and Society from Oregon State University, an M.S. in Environmental Humanities from University of Utah, and a B.A. in history from Westminster University. She believes in the power of community driven multi-jurisdicitional land management planning as a tool for building more resilient communities and is thrilled to be working at Vibrant Planet to help partners face their most challenging problems with a data driven, collaborative approach.
