Tate Perkins

Tate joins Vibrant Planet with experience in climate-focused initiatives, primarily centered on market-based climate solutions, environmental consulting, and carbon credit portfolio curation. He graduated from Bates College in 2022, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Environmental Science. Most recently, he worked at South Pole, a major player in the voluntary carbon market space, building optimized carbon credit portfolios for some of the leading offset purchasers in the U.S. and abroad. Tate’s excitement about sustainability, specifically Vibrant Planet’s approach to achieving wildfire and climate resilience, is fueled by a strong devotion to protecting our natural spaces. This passion is fostered by his love for being outdoors, whether it’s backcountry skiing, mountain biking, or running. When he’s not working you can find him in the skin track, running up a mountain, or cooking a homemade dinner for friends.
