Laurie Perrot

Senior Environmental Analysis Coordinator
Laurie joined Vibrant Planet following a 34-year career with the USDA Forest Service in California. Throughout her career, she was responsible for project planning, land management planning, and environmental analysis at district, forest, and regional levels of the Agency. She was integral to several large-scale regional forest planning and environmental analyses efforts during her tenure, including the 2001 and 2004 Sierra Nevada Forest Plan Amendments. Most recently, she was the Forest Environmental Coordinator on the Tahoe National Forest for 17 years. Laurie worked with district and forest-level staff to develop forest plan amendments and project-level environmental analyses under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and addressed appeals, objections, and litigation. She served as an Interdisciplinary Team Leader for the North Yuba Landscape Resilience Project, an innovative landscape-scale fuels reduction and forest restoration project, developed in collaboration with the North Yuba Forest Partnership.
