Dr. Janet Wiener

Janet is a software generalist with over 30 years of expertise in data, from database internals up through user-facing apps that make sense of mountains of data. She is energized by the promise of reducing fires in California and excited to make data power Vibrant Planet’s products. Janet has written over 50 peer reviewed publications and holds 20 patents. She earned a PhD in Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and previously worked at Stanford University, DEC, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, Facebook. Slack, and several start-ups.
