Dr. Paige Maas

Paige comes to Vibrant Planet from the Core Data Science team at Meta where she built the Data for Good program from its inception and served as its primary technical lead for six years. She performed foundational research in collaboration with Meta’s climate team, motivated by the connection between the devastating impacts of disasters and climate change. Paige holds a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins and wrote her dissertation on breast cancer risk prediction models at the National Cancer Institute. Paige loves playing with data, writing code, and working on hard problems that matter. At Vibrant Planet, Paige is excited to make a difference building technology to achieve critical ecological impact.
