Luke Zachmann

Luke is an ecologist and data scientist with over a decade of experience working in academia, the non-profit sector, and industry. He has done basic research on the patterns and drivers of biodiversity, as well as applied work on wildfire, invasive species, land cover / land use, conservation planning, and phenology. Luke has worked in forest, shrub, and grasslands across the western US, at population, community, and ecosystem scales. He brings significant spatial, statistical, and remote sensing experience to the Vibrant Planet team.
